Chives
A hardy perennial with narrow grass like leaves which are hollow and grow in clumps . The small mauve flowerheads make this a wonderful plant for edging and the herb garden .
Plant in a bright location in moist soil ,ideal for tubs and pots.
Flowers early to mid summer.
Height (approx. 40 cm)(15 in ).
Culinary uses .
Chopped chives can be used in salads ,cooked vegetables ,soups and egg dishes .The flavour is similar to that of onions .



All our plants are sold in multiples of 5 plug plants.
Once you get your plug plants home plant them into a 9cm pot, once frosts has passed you may plant them into your patio tub, or direct into your garden and watch it grow.
